A huge thank you to Macmillan Cancer for inviting Vyckie and I along to this very interesting meeting yesterday.
We listened intently to a senior minister discuss the latest plans that the Government has for a new National Cancer Plan for England to improve the experience and outcomes of people living with cancer over the next ten years.
Vyckie and I were then separated (very sensibly) into breakout rooms where we had the opportunity to share our stories and the needs of the high-risk community – plenty of opportunity to promote our lovely group too!
We also bumped into (by accident) Gemma Peters, Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer, who was very grateful for the support that we can offer Kent ladies.
