We have a closed Facebook page - BRCA Kent.

This is a safe and secure forum for our ladies who can't make the support group meetings and also for keeping in touch in between meetings.

Using this site, there is always someone able to offer support 7 days a week.

Due to the sensitive nature of the discussion on the group page, we have a set criteria. It is only for ladies that have a BRCA mutation diagnosis and are living in Kent are eligible to join. This ensures we can maintain a small intimate and local group.

If you are interested in joining the group, please send a request to join, and respond to the 3 questions you get asked.  If you don’t get added, then look out for a private message from us. We often end up in the "other" inbox, so please make sure to check there!

If eligible to join the group, you will automatically get invited to Support Group Meetings and Awareness Days. However, if for any reason we can't welcome you to our group at this time, we may be able to signpost you to other more appropriate groups of support for you.

* Log on to Facebook

* Search for BRCA Kent in the search bar

* Click "join group"

* Answer the 3 questions that come up as a prompt. That then makes it quicker for us to identify you and accept you to the group.

* If you have done that & you still haven’t been accepted into the group, check your Facebook Messages (& sometimes, Facebook spam folder) for a message from us.

* Once we have identified you fit the criteria, you will be accepted into the group and automatically be invited to come along to our support group meetings.

A special thanks to Macmillan, Whitehead Monckton Charitable Foundation, and Rotary Maidstone Dawn Patrol whose grants and donations have supported our group.
